One quibble - 'this is one of those rare but dangerous moments in history when Big Oil and the Israelis are pushing the White House in the same direction'.
It's true that Big Oil and Israel rarely have the same interests. But what happens when the big oil companies' interests do not coincide with Israel's? Exactly the same as when they do! Israel always prevails. 'Big Oil' doesn't make it more dangerous at all.
