Obama's police crack down on anti-war activists by Jay Knott (09/27/10)       ⇌ (Israel and the US)

Anti-war activists in Minneapolis have been raided by the FBI and had documents and computers seized. There have been no charges, but the activists expect to be hauled before a 'grand jury' which basically means they have to answer any questions asked or be imprisoned.

This is the result of a legal decision described on this site:

Antiwar.com prominently features the statement, 'FBI "Took Any Documents Containing the Word Palestine"'.

On the other hand, the left thinks it is as much to do with Colombia.

And the American Jewish World tried to appeal to its readers on the basis that the law could be used  against... Zionists:

This is the scheme of things right now; but if our First Amendment rights are whittled away to nothing, who can say that at some point, in a future Orwellian version of America, gathering to support Israel will not be declared out of bounds?
