Woman avoids jail for damaging artwork - green activists not so lucky by Jay Knott (11/20/10) ⇌ (A message from D)
In Colorado, a 56-year-old woman from Montana has just been given 18 months unsupervized probation for damaging a painting of Jesus Christ she thought was blasphemous. Green activists who visited Colorado to do criminal damage to a new ski resort in support of their beliefs got up to twenty years prison if they co-operated, were threatened with sixty-five years if they did not, driving one of them to commit suicide, and they were found guilty of 'terrorism'.
So what's my point? Er, the US legal system is sometimes more lenient to crazed Christians than it is to eco-warriors. Like you didn't know that already.
