There is much discussion going on in the Occupied Territory of Washington DC right now about the crypto-Zionists who barred Helen Thomas from speaking at the 'Move Over AIPAC' conference. 'Jewish Voice for Peace' is not the only example - any anti-Zionist group which makes a point about the ethnicity of its members should be regarded with suspicion - but it is one of the most important. • JVP claims that when the Anti-Defamation League falsely uses the accusation of 'anti-semitism', it makes it harder to protect Jews against real anti-semitism - this is simply not true - the ADL's hysterical, hypocritical defence of Jewish interests has been very effective in demonizing all other ethnic interests:

• "Starving Palestinians is not our Judaism", says JVP, contrasting their Judaism with the ADL's Judaism - but a religion isn't what you want it to be - what if the ADL is right, and Zionism logically follows from Judaism?
  

Why is it 'Jewish Voice for Peace'? The idea is, its supposed to be especially heroic for Jews to oppose Jewish racism. And the number of Jews in the Palestinian 'movement' shows this movement is not 'anti-semitic'. It's as if the anti-apartheid movement flaunted the whiteness of its leaders to show it wasn't anti-white: 'Aryans Against Apartheid'.
