I left a critical comment on a 9/11 'truth' site - will they allow it? by Jay Knott (05/05/11) ⇌ (September 11th. 2001)
Let's see if it ever gets published...

One of the problems with oppositional movements in the USA is they tend to lack a sense of proportion. Many of them are happy to mention ‘chemtrails’ in the same page as ‘nuclear power station meltdowns’ as if the evidence for one being a problem is in any way comparable with the other. Another example is claiming Israeli involvement in 9/11. I’ve seen ‘truthers’ holding up signs saying ‘Israel did it’ at protests against AIPAC. This is very sad, and makes the protests look stupid, and the only beneficiaries are Zionists.
If I were as paranoid as the 9/11 truthers, I would say that this shows they are on the wrong side! ‘Cui bono?’ they ask – a moronic question.
The best summary of how damaging crazy conspiracy theories are is this, from JoAnn Wypijewski: http://www.counterpunch.org/jw11282006.html

PS. They did allow it
